A note about The Cuddlywumps Chronicles

This blog is written and maintained by Miss Cuddlywumps, a fluffy-tailed calico cat who is both classically educated and familiar with mysteries. She receives creative input from the Real Cats and clerical assistance from She of Little Talent (old SoLT, a.k.a. Roby Sweet). Comments or complaints should be addressed to Miss C rather than to old SoLt (Ms. Sweet). Ms. Sweet accepts no responsibility for Miss C's opinions.

Sunday Selfie: Dinnertime!

This is dinnertime with old SoLT. When you eat chicken in this house (and you can see what a classy place it is--no dinner jacket required!), you attract an audience. Here, Real Cat Webster and Resident Dog Layla pay rapt attention to every bite.

  1. Sure looks like the SoLT may have to keep her eyes on you guys just in case. Over here I maintain strict professional eating courtesy namely the peep eats after me and only what I don't like, that way there is no arguments and I get all the mice.

  3. This is classic! Looks like my house!!!! I tell my husband I don't know what it is like to eat without a cat either on the floor staring at me, or a cat and a dog in the living room staring at me. Cody practically puts himself in my plate! catchatwithcarenandcody

  6. Too cute!!! I have to say Mudpie has *never* done that because she has NO interest in human food. Heck, she barely tolerates cat food! MOL

  7. The question at hand: Did either of you get any of that chicken? If you were at our house, you wouldn't. Our humans are mean. Thanks for hopping with us. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  11. I love seeing the Real Cats (and dog) ... no offense to Miss C. I think Webster and Bear Cat would be the best of friends - well, except for when human food is about. Ellie's actually more of a beggar than Bear (this wasn't true when he was younger ... he'd always be in my face) - but he'll eat the fruits of her labor.
