A note about The Cuddlywumps Chronicles

This blog is written and maintained by Miss Cuddlywumps, a fluffy-tailed calico cat who is both classically educated and familiar with mysteries. Pet Photo Fails: Paisley, Unfocused

Welcome to the August edition of Pet Photo Fails!

We have just one fail for you this month, because old SoLT has not been feeling well for a whole month now and hasn't taken many pictures. She found out she has a kidney stone that might be sort of stuck, and she will probably feel better after she has it removed, but we don't know when that will be yet.

Anyway, here is a blurry photo of Real Cat Paisley

Now it's your turn! Just post your not-quite-right pet photos and link up here to join in the fun. All pets are welcome. The Linky will be open until 11:59 p.m. Monday (eastern time). We can't wait to see those photo fails and laugh at them commiserate with you over how hard it can be to take a good pet photo.

Not ready for this month's hop? No problem! Mark your calendar for next month's hop, which will be on September 28.

  1. I am so sorry to hear that SoLT hasn't been feeling well. I had kidney stones once and blew them out with a weekend of nothing but cranberry juice. I hope that she's going to be okay. She's in my prayers.
    Have a blessed weekend. :)

  4. Hmmmm, the blankie is in focus. Sending heading purrz to your human. Tell her to drink beer. You don't buy it, you rent it and it'll make you pee everything out. That's what they gave one of TW's furrends in the hospital.

  5. Oh No!!! Please tell your human that if she didn't already know, I am the QUEEN of Kidney stones (I have had over a dozen lithotripsies and I have Medullary Sponge Kidneys)........I have passed a minimum of 7 large stones (not at one time) on my own. I have 100s of stones every day due to my condition. Tell her to email me if she has any questions! Praying she feels better soon......I know first hand just how awful they are! xoxo (oh and sorry we didn't do the hop again, we have a new granddaughter and we have been busy)

  13. No I consider that an action shot, I do them when I'm watching breakfast fly by! MOL Sending lots of purrs and prayers to your wonderful SoLT and hope she gets better very soon as that is one painful ailment. Maybe she can try that shockwave therapy that is non invasive, and quick, too.

  14. That's a great Photo fail picture, I like the moving on the head, Paisley :D Glad your old S was able to make such a great Photo fail despite her troubles with her health :(
OMC kidney stones...they're horrible! When Granny had them, almost 15 years of her life, she jumped to relieve the pain and that also helped her to "work out" the stones and she still drinks Orthosiphon stamineus tea, that helps to get rid of them and never come back again :) Pawkisses for a Happy Healthy week ahead and will send Healing Pawkisses to your old S to feel better soon <3 <3 <3
