A note about The Cuddlywumps Chronicles

This blog is written and maintained by Miss Cuddlywumps, a fluffy-tailed calico cat who is both classically educated and familiar with mysteries. She receives creative input from the Real Cats and clerical assistance from She of Little Talent (old SoLT, a.k.a. Roby Sweet). Comments or complaints should be addressed to Miss C rather than to old SoLt (Ms. Sweet). Ms. Sweet accepts no responsibility for Miss C's opinions.

Has this ever happened to you? You’re all set to snap an awesome photo of your perfectly posed pooch, your cutely coiffed cat, or what have you, when suddenly your little darling turns their head or licks their you-know-what, and instead of an awesome photo worthy of use in a sponsored post, you get a blurry mess worthy of the delete folder.

Sound familiar? Then you’re in the right place!

Welcome to Pet Photo Fails

This is the home of the Pet Photo Fails Blog Hop, the monthly blogging event in celebration of bad pet photos. To join the fun, just post one or more of those not-quite-right pet photos on the final Friday of every month and then come to The Cuddlywumps Cat Chronicles to link up with the hop. Bring us your blurred bunnies,  your “I didn’t know that was in the background” dog photos, your thumb and foot shots that were supposed to be photos of your cat. It’s time to share them all with the world!

If you’ve never hopped before, don’t worry. It’s so easy, even we can do it. Just hit “Click here to enter” at the bottom of the hop post and follow the instructions. A little typing, a couple clicks, and voila, you’re hopping! You can even grab the code to add to your own blog post if you want.

To participate on Twitter and Instagram, use the hashtag

All pets are welcome. We just ask that all photos be G-rated, please. If you wouldn’t show it to your 6-year-old niece, you probably shouldn’t post it.
