A note about The Cuddlywumps Chronicles

This blog is written and maintained by Miss Cuddlywumps, a fluffy-tailed calico cat who is both classically educated and familiar with mysteries. She receives creative input from the Real Cats and clerical assistance from She of Little Talent (old SoLT, a.k.a. Roby Sweet). Comments or complaints should be addressed to Miss C rather than to old SoLt (Ms. Sweet). Ms. Sweet accepts no responsibility for Miss C's opinions.

Friendly Fill-Ins

Friendly Fill-Ins badge

Today we're doing Friendly Fill-Ins, from 15andmeowing and McGuffy’s Reader. They are a fun way to learn a little bit about the authors of the blogs you read. The first two questions, answered by old SoLT this week, are from Ellen of 15andmeowing, and the next two, answered by Real Cat Paisley, are from Annie of McGuffy’s Reader.

Old SoLT's answers:
1. A prop from a tv show or film I would like to own is Doctor Who's TARDIS (a working model, please,  with the Doctor to show me how to operate it).

2. My oldest friendship is with my mom. When I was about 16, I never imagined that one day Mom and I would be friends, but we are, and it's beautiful.

Real Cat Paisley's answers:
3. Whenever I see the family dog, I always think about making our house a dog-free zone.

4. The best thing in life is wet food, but the good kind, not the yucky kind, and not the kind without enough gravy or with too much gravy, and not the kind with bits that are too little or too big, and not the kind that's too smelly or not smelly enough. It's so simple; I don't know why you people have such a hard time choosing cat food!

  1. Thank you both for these great answers. I would love to own a TARDIS, I have a cardboard one for now. I love the photo with your Mom. I feel guilty for not listing my Mom as my oldest friendship. And Paisley, you are too funny about the dog. I do hope you get some yummy canned food soon.

  2. I would want the little medical device the Dr. McCoy used in the original Star Trek episodes. I'd read somewhere that it was actually a salt/pepper shaker, but it was cool! And I've never watched an ep of Dr. Who; isn't that weird? For a SciFi fan like me? Actually, there is a reason: I watched every ep of The X-Files, and vowed to never get that engrossed in a TV show again.

  3. I'm trying not to laugh at your commentary on food ... Real Cat Paisley ... you are one of those glorious creatures called a tortie! I love your colors and "pattern" - beautiful!

  4. I expected to see the Tardis as a coveted prop. I have never seen the show! I think it is great that you and your mom are close. It should be that way. I suspect that being a tortie has something to do with the cattitude. We have had torties, too. *wink* Our coydog, Polly, used to carry one tortie around by her head. Thankfully she was gentle and loved Tootsie the tortie. Tootsie actually like Polly and tolerated it,. She was a small cat, about 6 lbs. Hugs!

Paisley, regarding #4, the choice isn't difficult at all, is it? haha

    Have a blessed weekend!
