A note about The Cuddlywumps Chronicles

Caturday Art: Real Cats Webster and Paisley

We kept things simple for Caturday Art this week, using just one quick effect from Lunapic. It's the Edtaonisl art effect, with an added 3-D canvas border:

Real Cats Webster and Paisley with Edtaonisl effect #CaturdayArt

We had no idea what Edtaonisl meant, so of course we googled it and learned that it is the sort of made-up title of a 1913 painting by Francis Picabia (whom we had never heard of before, so that shows you how much we know about art history!). You can find out more from the Art Institute of Chicago.

And here is the original of our picture. It is a pretty crummy photo by old SoLT that does not do the Real Cats justice at all!

  3. That's the fun of editing...making not so great photos into works of art! :)

  4. That is a nice effect. It looks like Webster is telling Paisley a story which she is wishing he would soon finish.

  7. We think your art is furtabulous. Just love how both kitties furs came out. Sometimes the worst photos make the best art. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

  8. I thought it meant editorial cartoons. Great filter and great art from a kinda great pic.

  9. Oh Wow! Gotta live Lunapic! Their filters rock! Edtaonisl's story is what my Mom remembered from Art School! It sounds like the purrfect shaggy dog story - a priest and exotic dancer and an artist are in a bar on a boat sailing from France to New York...
