We have two fun Friday features for you today. First up is Real
Cal Paisley, who has put together a small collection of recent bloopers. Then it’s
on to Friendly Fill-Ins, with Real Cat Webster joining in this week.
Bloopers
Paisley has just a few bloopers to share this month. She hopes you enjoy them! This first one is left over from Christmastime. You can tell because Paisley is wearing her Christmas flower:
We're not sure why old SoLT took a picture of her foot, but she did. We're pretty sure she was aiming for Paisley, but obviously she missed by quite a wide margin. The dark thing in the upper right is Paisley:
Finally, Paisley has recently started walking on the railing above the front steps. Old SoLT was trying to get a double selfie while Paisley was up there, but this was the best she could do:
Friendly Fill-Ins
And now it’s time for Friendly
Fill-Ins, from 15andmeowing and McGuffy’s Reader. They are a fun way to learn a little bit about the authors of
the blogs you read. The first two questions, answered by old SoLT this week,
are from Ellen of 15andmeowing, and the next two, answered by Real Cat Webster,
are from Annie of McGuffy’s Reader.
Old SoLT’s answers:
1.The flu shot is something everyone should get (unless your doctor advises you not to)--even if it’s
“only” 30% effective (30 is more than 0!). Speaking as someone who lives with a
compromised immune system, I get really annoyed when people don’t take basic
steps to keep from becoming infected and then spreading that infection all around
(by going to work sick, by not covering coughs and sneezes, etc.). The flu may
be mostly an uncomfortable annoyance for many, but its consequences can easily
become life threatening for some of us.
2. I think everyone should take coffee daily. Because
coffee is just so good!
Real Cat Webster’s
answers:
3. I (almost) always take a nap on top of the cat tree
every day, because it’s one of my favorite places.
we loves the bloopers!! Mom keeps deleting ours... maybe we should post the funnier ones. by the ways, I came from the outside world and now I don't wants to ever go back out there agains... too scary. - Chiquita, who am glad that her family am all caughted and here with me now... you can reads about that too.
ReplyDeleteOh noes, you stayed under the wheelbarrow! Only Chucky so far (knock wood!) has escaped outside, and he didn't come back for about 10 hours. He probably was in the backyard of the house across the street the whole time, but was too stubborn to come home sooner. The Hubby and I were very upset.
ReplyDeleteCute bloopers. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins. I am pro flu shot too, I don't want to be sick or make anyone else sick. I get annoyed at parents who won't vaccinate their kids too because they are putting everyone at risk. I am glad you didn't go too far when you escaped Webster. Have a nice weekend! XO
ReplyDeleteTortie bloopers are the best ...
ReplyDeleteI never thought about the impact on others of me getting a flu shot. I got my last one 12 years ago - when I got the flu pretty bad for a few days afterward. And up until this year, I never got it again. I heard this season, it's only been 10% effective - the strain we had wasn't covered by the vaccine. After reading your comments, I'm going to do more research and reconsider my position refusing the shot.
Great bloopers! The other day I took a picture of the ceiling...yikes! LOL You've made me think twice about the flu shot too. I've never thought about it from that perspective!
ReplyDeleteThose are some great bloopers!
ReplyDeleteGreat bloopers and answers but my fave is the last pic of Webster. He seems to be peeking around a corner at me. TW heard the flu shot was only 10% effective but that was after she'd gotten it. aunt Pauline hs the flu now and she had gotten her shot.
ReplyDeleteLove the blooper photos, especially the attempt at the double selfie. Great answers to the fill ins with my favourite being #2 as coffee is the elixir of life.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week.
Coffee? Yes, please. *sip* Ahh...okay. Great bloopers! And, great fill-ins, too. I wish the minions would stay away from the door. The inborn feral trait is strong in them. They also know the dogs go outside, so think they should!
ReplyDeleteThank you for being a part of Friendly Fill-Ins. Hugs.
Annie at ~McGuffy's Reader~
We like the double selfie - there's almost something artistic about it! :)
ReplyDeleteI also wish people would learn to stay home when they're sick. At my old job, my boss was the worst for it...both he and his wife would come into work and infect half the employees, who would then be out too. How stupid was that? Plus customers would come in the store sick and spreading germs too. So annoying, but it goes far beyond that for people like Old SoLT. I think they need to push that as much as the flu shot too.
